Keeping children safe online
Keeping Children Safe Online: "Gold"en Rules for Families
The internet is an essential part of children's lives and can
provide a range of positive opportunities. Whilst there can be
risks for children and young people online, many of them use the
internet regularly without coming to any harm, so it's important
for families to be realistic. Education around safe use is
essential as banning the internet or specific websites, games and
apps does not work and can make children feel less able to report a
problem.
These might help you to consider how you can help
keep your family safe online.
